About the Author
Mayumi Nakagaki is a founding member of the Gargoyle Collective and the creator of its sister publishing company, Enchanted Tones. Both collectives consist of artists from around the globe, aiming to disseminate art and artful books. Gargoyle's work spans various mediums, from paintings and books to installations.She has designed several lines of coloring books available on Amazon. Among these is the Zen of Coloring, which features art inspired by Buddhist teachings from Japan, China, South Korea, and Vietnam. Recently, she has created a book about the Secret Meaning of Flowers, HANA KOTOBA, and is working on a project related to IREZUMI, the ancient art of Japanese Tattoo.Her work is showcased in books from Enchanted Tones, as well as in the publication "Art Movements of the 20th Century," released by the Gargoyle Collective and Rampages Publishing.
