Item description from seller

Bound in colour printed illustrated cloth, featuring two children with Grandfather clock, this circa 1892 hardcover First English Edition is VG. 60pp with 5 Chapters and 8 Chromolitho full-page illustrations, 28 B/W drawings set in text. Rubbing to top edge of front board has removed uneven part of illustration; perhaps between a quarter and half of one inch shows plain brown board where coloured paste down is missing. All board edges and corners show some wear consistant with date. Endpapers clean and withour scribble, but name and date at top of title page (1892).Several pages have brown tape residue, one quarter inch strip only, of blank margin at hinge; tape removed but stain remains. Perhaps better than average condition for book of this age: binding slightly shaken, otherwise Good.
