Tom, Tom & the Great Leaf-Raking Race: The Movie Mission (Two Toms in Brooklyn)

The leaves are falling, and the clock is ticking!

It’s autumn in Brooklyn, and best friends Tom and Tom have big plans: the Brooklyn Film Festival! But before they can go, there’s a backyard full of leaves to rake, and only 100 minutes to do it.

Can they finish in time? How much can each Tom rake, and how fast? Is it quicker to work side by side or to split the yard? As the minutes tick away, the Two Toms plan, time and test their ideas, discovering how much a little math, a dash of physics and a lot of teamwork can do.

Packed with fall colors, friendly competition and a real-world timing problem young readers can solve right along with the boys, The Great Leaf-Raking Race turns a backyard chore into a race against the clock.
