Hardcover. The mustard cover has the title in black inside an oval, with four different scenes in red and black; the spine has the title in black, with Tom Swift in and oval. The corners are lightly bumped with a small amount of shelf wear and some bumping to top edges back and front. The endpapers are aged, have a former owners name and there are a couple of brownish spots, not foxing. The frontispiece is a black and white picture, the same as the cover. The interior is aged with some foxing at the title page. The dust jacket has a colored picture of a bi-plane flying over a building on fire; the title is in red, the spine is off white with the title in red and an oval with Tom Swift in it. There is some chipping and rubbing to the edges, the corners are uncut; there are lists of other Grosset & Dunlap book on the inside of the DJ. 214pp plus 6 pages of ads for other books.
