Tom Swift & His Undersea Search (23 of 38 in Tom Swift series)

This Fine quality book was published in 1920 by Grosset & Dunlap. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 218 numbered pages followed by 2 unnumbered pages of ads; it is the tan/red/black quad cover. It is square, extremely clean, completely free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped, with no fabric damage, just slight color loss. The bottom edges and lower front corners have very little wear. The exterior looks almost new. Except for a small book store sticker (Woodward & Lothrop / Washington, D. C.) sticker on the rear paste down, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and not damaged. The frontis is intact. The paper is very slightly toned and quite flexible. The book lists 23 Swift titles on the copyright page and 29 titles on the list at the rear of the book. The NF quality jacket is quite clean and the colors on the front panel are quite vivid. It has tiny chips at both front corners and tiny chips at the bottom of the front panel at the gutter; the moderately toned spine has two spots of abrasion between Tom's oval portrait and the publisher's name.
