In the magical land of Brushelot it is Batina's first day collecting teeth. She is determined that her humongous wings will not interfere with her mission. But on her way back, with the tooth secure in her pouch, her wings cause her to tumble and the tooth is lost. Batina must call on her best friends, Lainey the brainiac and little Lulu, to work together to save the day.

Denise Ditto, a native Houstonian, is the author of the childrens book series titled, "The Tooth Collector Fairies." There are four books in the series. Her debut book, 2016 and Home from Decay Valley, 2018 are both recipients of the Little Peeps Grand Prize Award in the Chanticleer Blue Ribbon Award Writing Competitions. In addition, Batina's Best First Day was adapted for the stage as a musical, and performed by children between the ages of 7-14 in 2016 and 2018. Tooth Fairy Day Celebration is the First Place recipient in the Chanticleer Blue Ribbon Award Writing Competitions. Lucas and the Magic Well releases in 2026. In her early years, Denise worked for a real estate attorney and title company. Her career began simply, with the preparation of documents for various types of real estate transactions. As time passed, she was able to work her way up to Office Manager/Human Resources/Benefits Coordinator while raising her two children and attending college to obtain a much desired degree. After 27 years with the same group she decided to leave the confines of a comfortable job and income to pursue her true love - writing for children. Denise has been an active member of the American Business Women's Association - Woven Express Network in Kingwood since 2012. She was voted WOVEN's Woman of Excellent in 2021. Denise is also an active member in the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators since 2012. Denise graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston-Downtown with a degree in professional writing.
