Description: This topographic map of the John Muir Wilderness and the Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks Backcountry is actually three maps -- divided into North, Central, and South sections. Two of the maps are printed back to back on the same sheet; the other map has various Wilderness Travel Tips printed on the reverse side These tips (although some are now dated) are diverse and comprehensive, even to the amount of rations for horses and mules on pack trips. The maps measure just about three feet high by four feet wide. BINDING/CONDITION: the envelope holding the maps is worn, with a tear along one edge, the flap is torn and creased; the envelope is in Fair condition; the maps in Fine condition.
