A history of the Texas Rangers baseball team, illustrated with baseball cards of what was originally an expansion team known as the Washington Senators from 1961 to 1971; includes year by year highlights illustrated in color with the Topps baseball cards for the team members each year. In 1972 they moved to Arlington, TX (between Dallas and Ft. Worth) and became the Texas Rangers. History continues from 1972 until 1986 illustrated with more baseball cards in color. Includes an alphabetical Texas All-Time Roster list, plus Pitching & Batting Records by player. Presented by SURF laundry detergent (ad on back cover), plus a coupon on the last page. Measures 6.5" x 9.5" with almost 100 pages (unpaginated). A vertical cut (slit) appears on the back cover and on the last page in the middle of the cover going up about two inches from the bottom of the cover. It is hardly noticeable and has no impact on the contents which is clean and intact with no other marks of any kind. Sold "as is".
