Designed as a "teacher's book," the seventh edition of Torts: Cases, Problems, and Exercises contains both traditional as well as more recent modern cases, together with thought-provoking problems designed to stimulate interesting classroom discussion that can be carried throughout each substantive chapter. The problems are designed to help students learn doctrine, to illuminate trends in the law, and to ultimately produce better learning. The book also includes a "skills" component, with problems that place students in situations they are likely to encounter in practice, in order to encourage them to think about how they might handle these situations.
