Half vellum and marbled boards, printed label to spine, worn, lacking frontis, main title pages and all engraved illustrations bar one. For 1787: January, March, April, June, and September, October all absent, p. 69 in February misprinted as p. 65 which has thrown numbers out of sequence., a couple of other page misprints throughout though sequence resumed. For 1788: January absent, and thereafter runs only up to July, and then finally the supplement, pp.63-66 absent in February, pp.319-20 in June (these may be illustrations) and a number of other leaves absent including a more substantial section between pp.244 & 281, pagination from July inexplicably reverts back to 295 but then numerical sequence resumed with the supplement; supplements present for both years, only one full illustration remaining 'Poetry thro' the Wood Laddie'.
