About the Authors: Seshadri received his PhD in Management Science at the University of California Berkeley in 1993 and has an MBA and undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. He teaches Operations Management and electives in the Stern School at NYU.

Sridhar Seshadri is a professor of operationsmanagement in the IROM Departmentat the McCombs School of Business, Universityof Texas at Austin. He has done extensiveresearch on supply chain contracts and riskmanagement.
