About the Author

María Daniela Pascualis a Public Accountant. She holds a Bachelor in Administration, Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), and is a Ph.D. in Administration, Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). In 1998, she obtained a Masters in Management (MSc) from e London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE). During the 1990s, she was an advisor to the public sector in the Ministry of Transport Privatization process. She was awarded a scholarship by JICA ( Japanese International Cooperation Agency) to study the Japanese railway system. In 2002, she was General Coordinator of the BIRF Loan 4423 for State Modernization, under the direction of the National Government Cabinet In 2003 she obtained a Masters in Strategic Management from the Universidad de San Andrés (Argentina). She is currently working on independent projects (PROINC) for the Secretary of Science and Technology, Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBACyT), and is a lecturer in the undergraduate course in General Management (UBA), and the postgraduate course in Economic and Organisational Management, (UCA).
