Anna Wright's life changed in an instant when her husband disappeared, leaving her to grapple with the effects of her depression while living a secluded life with her young family abroad. But when clues surface that her husband is still alive and was taken to a different time period, Anna must make the impossible choice to either stay with her children or travel through space and time to find him. With the help of a distinguished professor and a mystical guide, she embarks on an unfathomable journey that will test the bounds of her courage, loyalty, and love. But when Anna finally finds David, she discovers that he has been betrothed to another, leaving her to make a decision that will affect the future of her family, the planet, and the fabric of time itself.

Tracing Time is an intriguing blend of romance, science fiction, and mystery. Its captivating characters felt alive, and its twisting plot kept me interested and guessing until the very end. So many questions to be answered. I am a sucker for a love story, especially one with many obstacles for love to overcome. Such a great read, and time well spent!"

About the Author
Her first children's book, The Hug Who Had No Arms, debuted on Amazon as a #1 bestseller in several categories. Inspired by a time when the world seemed to stop hugging, Shelly took to her love of drawing and storytelling to create a book for families to cope with the practice of social distancing as well as celebrate our unique differences and ways we can show love through them. Having a bilingual family herself, Shelly's passion to have multilingual versions of this book has turned into a hugfest series with translations currently in Romanian, Persian, and Spanish.
Shelly is a cult survivor using her voice through the power of storytelling in order to elicit change. A victim of childhood sexual abuse, she reached out to church leaders as a teenager, only to be "handled" in a culture of shame and misogyny. Today, she advocates for survivors of spiritual, sexual, and institutional abuse and is writing a memoir and screenplay about her experiences.
