About the Author
Alpesh Patel is a graduate in the joint honours school of Philosophy, Politics and Economics from St Anne's College, Oxford University, and has a degree in Law from King's College, London University. As a barrister, Alpesh was involved in advising banks, building societies and pension funds on financial services. He left practice as a barrister to trade full-time and founded TraderMind Derivatives Ltd. The company has acted as consultant up to CEO level of multi-billion-dollar online trading companies, advising on market entry and expansion strategy, site content and design.
Alpesh, through TraderMind, provides online trading content to TV, radio, the internet and newspapers, and strategy advice on using online trading content to increase sponsorship and advertising on their particular media and through strategic alliances.
Alpesh has been interviewed on CNN, Sky Business News, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, the Money Channel, the BBC World Service, BBC TV and BBC radio as well as numerous US radio shows, to discuss internet issues. He has also been profiled in the Asian Age, the Times of India, the Hindustan Times and the Independent and quoted in Bottom Line (whose circulation exceeds one million), Tornado-Insider, India Today the Guardian newspaper among many other publications.
