How do you know a customer is leaving when Traditional Customer Success says everything is fine?
Customer churn rarely comes out of nowhere.
Yet for many companies, it still feels like a surprise.
Dashboards look green.
Health scores are stable.
NPS hasn’t dropped.
QBRs are running.
And then the customer leaves.
Not because Customer Success failed:
but because the system was designed to report churn, not predict it.
This book introduces a new way of thinking about customer retention: Human Signals Intelligence™.
Instead of relying solely on lagging indicators like usage, adoption, and survey scores, Human Signals Intelligence focuses on the earliest signals of churn, the human ones.
Customers don’t churn suddenly.
They drift silently.
That drift shows up first in language, timing, alignment, trust, and emotional energy, long before traditional metrics change.
Inside this book, you’ll discover:
Why Traditional Customer Success dashboards create the Dashboard Illusion
Why NPS is not wrong, but incomplete in today’s customer reality
How customer intent shifts months before churn becomes visible
The difference between reporting loyalty and forecasting loyalty
How to detect early churn signals hidden in everyday customer interactions
Why modern churn is driven by stakeholder politics, overload, and loss of momentum
How to move from reactive Customer Success to proactive churn foresight
A New Category for a New Customer Reality
This book defines a new category: Human Signals Intelligence™.
It introduces two foundational concepts:
Foresight Radar™, an early-warning system that detects customer drift before dashboards turn red
Human Intent Index™, a leading indicator that measures whether a customer is moving toward you or away from you
Human Signals Intelligence does not replace Traditional Customer Success.
It upgrades it.
Traditional Customer Success manages execution.
Human Signals Intelligence manages prediction.
Who This Book Is For
CEOs and founders tired of “unexpected” churn
Customer Success leaders who feel dashboards miss something critical
Revenue, growth, and retention leaders who want earlier visibility
Anyone using NPS, health scores, or customer dashboards and wondering why churn still happens
The Core Insight
Dashboards report what customers did.
Human Signals Intelligence forecasts what customers intend.
And intent is where churn begins.
If you want to stop being surprised by customer loss,
this book will change how you see retention forever.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
