About the Author

She has been a Writer’s Digest “Breakout Author of the Year” and a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She is also a television writer, NPR commentator, keynote speaker, and writing instructor. She lives in Atlanta, writing out of a trailer in her backyard.
