As the ready-to-run market is now producing such high quality models there is little reason to spend hours crafting items such as coaches when all the proprietary models are so good, and more time can be spent planning and developing the layout. The chapters about track, signalling and buildings will all look at a prototype layout to explain why it is constructed as it is, and then explain how to copy this and lay out a model railway in a believable fashion. BookLovers of Bath is based in the rural idyll of Peasedown St. John in Somerset (God's Own Country) in the south west of England and actually very nearly in Bath. After 20 years of being ?internet only? I have now opened a shop, Fact or Fable, in the premises of our now-closed Post Office.
