Trait? Complet De La M?thode Jacotot, Rendue Accessible ? Toutes Les Intelligences

Traité Complet De La Méthode Jacotot, Rendue Accessible À Toutes Les Intelligences — A. Durietz. This work presents the universal teaching system developed by Jacotot in a comprehensive manual that blends theory and practice. It outlines three core procedures—mnemonic (memory-based repetition of a model text), analytical (in-depth examination and dissection of ideas), and synthetic (reconstruction by linking ideas into a coherent whole)—as the backbone of the method, which aims to democratize education and empower all intelligences. The volume covers the application of the method to the mother tongue and foreign languages, and then extends to sciences, arts, geography, history, and music, with exhaustive exercises in reading, writing, orthography, grammar, imitation, translation, composition, and improvisation. Télémaque is used as a primary exemplar to illustrate the principles, while the text also supplies guidance for a wide range of subjects. The book advocates emancipation intellectuelle through disciplined, self-guided learning under expert supervision.
