A complete treatise on perfuming and odors via distillation. The author is writing under the pseudonym of 'Dejean', his name is actually Antoine Hornot. The work covers a wide array of applications and recipes, and the processes for making the product. Covered are: treatments with water, spirit waters, distillations, spices, herbs, recipes with flowers, fruits, oils, lentils, cosmetics, to whiten teeth, tooth powders, creams, to beautify the eyes, eyebrows, dyes, to prevent hair from falling, soaps, vinegars, and preparing a bath.
