Transformational Living: Discover Your Kingdom Assignment

How would God have us live in relationship to our time, talents, testimony, and treasure? Should Christians work simply to increase the amount of stuff that we have, or does God have a higher purpose-a Kingdom purpose-for our finances? How about for our lives?

Transformational Living: Discover Your Kingdom Assignment is the result of many years of study, reflection, and implementation by Dr. Randy R. Butler. A longtime pastor, Bible student, and historian, Butler brings a wealth of insight into why God has made people with specific abilities, spheres of influence, and stewardship responsibilities. Written at a lay-level, but with an eye to the learned, Transformational Living will help any Christian grow in their knowledge of God, but especially those who are interested in how God can use their possessions. Transformational Living will not make you feel guilty about what you have; it will make you feel better about allowing God to be in charge of it.

In helping readers understand their Kingdom Assignment, Butler reveals the oft-overlooked religious principles in the lives of five famous industrialists: Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, Sr., and Cornelius Vanderbilt. He then shows how Christians today, who might never have access to the amount of capital as these famous men, yet may honor God and help others by how they use their possessions for God's kingdom purposes.
