About the Author

Dr. Jim Schettler is a vice president of West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. He served for twenty-five years ministering through Christian education and in the pastorate before joining WCBC in 2013. Dr. Schettler's excitement for the Lord and heart to see others grow in grace permeates his preaching, teaching, and outreach. He and his wife, Marilee, have been married for over thirty years and lead an adult Bible class at Lancaster Baptist Church. The Schettlers have three grown sons who are serving in Christian ministry.
