D. in Science of Jadavpur University, Major Field: Inorganic Chemistry & the entire research work had been done at Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, Kolkata. He holds Master of Science, Calcutta University, Kolkata, Specialization Inorganic Chemistry, 2003.
