An elderly paleontologist suffering from dementia complains to the Odd Squad about a dinosaur in his house. An encounter with an irksome alien sends the unlikely band of superheroes to the prehistoric continent of Pangaea.

In a desperate attempt to prevent the destruction of Earth, Odo and his friends depart Pangaea for the futuristic world of Varania, getting help along the way from alien tourists, a ghostly Antarctic explorer, and Ralph, the highly unusual mobile windshield repairman.

A veteran award winning author of thrilling young adult and middle grade adventures, Tom Hoffman received a B.S. in psychology from Georgetown University and a B.A. from the now-defunct Oregon College of Art. He has lived in Alaska with his wife Alexis since 1973. They have two adult children and three adorable grandchildren. Tom was a graphic designer and artist for over 35 years. Redirecting his imagination from art to writing, he wrote his first novel, The Eleventh Ring, at age 63. He recently completed The Translucent Boy and the Man Who Walked to the Moon.
