About the Author

Martin Dinges ist Professor fur Neuere Geschichte an der Universitat Mannheim und stellvertretender Leiter des Instituts fur Geschichte der Medizin der Robert Bosch Stiftung, Stuttgart. In den Mittelpunkt einer erneuerten Medizingeschichte stellt er Patienten sowie ihre Bemuhungen um Gesundheit und forscht zu den unterschiedlichen Korper- und Krankheitserfahrungen von Mannern und Frauen. Robert Jutte, geb. 1954, studierte Geschichte, Germanistik und Politikwissenschaft in Marburg, London und Munster.
