Trap Line

A Korean War veteran purchases a trap line deep in the Alaskan wilderness. After a successful first year of braving the harsh conditions, which includes taking in a mysterious young woman, his nagging war wounds force him to return to the public sector. He then leases the trap line to a series of colorful individuals who survive a multitude of harrowing adventures. From a bear attack that forces a young man to seek refuge in a tree, to the moose attack on a young woman while gathering kindling, to a “town kid” who survives two falls through thin ice, the unpredictable Alaskan wilderness makes its brutal presence known on a daily basis. All of this leads to a shocking conclusion involving UFOs, radioactive waste, and a mysterious military officer.

Fans of wilderness survival stories and admirers of surprising adventures will both enjoy the unexpected twists and turns these characters’ tales take over the course of multiple winters working the trap line. Grab your favorite hot drink, and get ready to brave the cold with Trap Line.
