Not Without My Son: Trapped in Costa Rica

I never expected my life to turn into a fight for freedom.
What began as a new chapter in Costa Rica became something far more complicated and far more dangerous when I found myself trapped there with my newborn son and no clear way home.
What followed was not just a legal battle, but an emotional and physical journey through uncertainty, fear, and impossible decisions. Every step forward came with risk. Every choice carried consequences. And through it all, one thing never changed. I would not leave my son behind.
Not Without My Son is a true story of resilience, sacrifice, and a mother’s unwavering determination to bring her child home. It is a story about survival, about strength you don’t know you have until you’re forced to find it, and about what it really means to fight for your family.
