Illustrated with B&W pen & ink drawings. Pages clean, unmarked, binding tight and square, a little soiling to page edges. Covers clean, colors bright, spine and extremities with a little general wear, small scuffs at top right hand corner, slight buckling at bottom of book. Based on William Lewis Manly's book Death Valley in '49. A story about a family's travel in a wagon train to California. They find themselves in Utah, with short tempers, scarcity of food, winter about to set in and several months' short of their goal. All books are in my smoke free & climate controlled shop and will have qualities and/or flaws described. Domestic & international shipping includes tracking information. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Store description

My main business is the operation of a custom frame shop and art gallery (specializing in original art and antique prints). Since writing, illustrating, the design and manufacture of books are art forms, I have included books in my gallery. Most are vintage, antique, or just previously read, and include first editions as well as signed editions. Over half of my inventory is non-fiction. I enjoy my framing business but I LOVE my book business!
