Travane: Large Print Edition (Paperback or Softback)

Hidden in the mountainous regions of the small coastal country of Travane is an exclusive ore that when ground and added to clayware strengthens it beyond normal usage. This ore, known as Kyran, can also add rare tints to the clayware based on specific reactions to additives. The trade of Kyran to the Continent, and especially the decorative wares produced solely in Travane, keep the land stable. However, the secret to making this scarce and most precious form of clayware, Royal Kyran, was lost a century ago and awaits the return of the One of Legend to rediscover its key and secure the future of Travane.

The ancient stone, the Divine Settling, and the formula for Royal Kyran have all been lost for nearly a century. Only the payson remember, and only a payson can restore them back to the land. Yet, the times are treacherous, and the son of the RioArd has been caught in a deceptive scheme that will destroy them all. Who will save them and restore Travane to its glory?

Being faced with the most critical decision of her life, CherRené Rayna doesn't know who to trust. Should she do what is expected and marry Nikalon of the east country, Morat? Or should she go in search of the answers to a dream that won't let her go? With so many differing opinions, Rayna turns to the One whom she believes has all the answers. The journey that unfolds reveals unexpected friends, hidden enemies, and secrets that will change the future of Travane. Will Rayna continue to obey the Divine to the end, though it cost her everything she holds dear?

M.D. Schlatter lives on a farm in the Center of the United States. For as long as she can remember, she has enjoyed making up stories to pass the time: be it on a roadtrip or falling asleep at night. In make-believe worlds, anything can happen and the ending can always be changed. In 2006, she started writing some of those stories down. Today, though she is busy being a wife, mother, and farmhand, she looks forward to leaving a legacy of her writing for the generations to come. Ultimately, she hopes to glorify her God and Savior with her life, her service to family and community, and her creative talents.
