Synopsis
The Traveler is a collection of poems chronologically written as the author journeys through life, across continents, cultures and people. The poems are emotions and thoughts that bubble in the mind about self-realization, people around us, our relationships with friends and family, life’s struggles of survival, love and emotions that are searching for a resting place on a piece of paper to be shared.
About the Author
Dan Khanna was born in New Delhi, India. After completing high school, Dan left India for California via short stays in London, Montreal and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Although his dream was to pursue a career in the arts: music, acting and writing, a quirk of fate placed him in an engineering and business management career, at which he excelled. In California, he completed his undergraduate degree in engineering and Master and Doctorate in Business Administration. Dan worked in Silicon Valley high-technology firms where he was the CEO and founder if a number of ventures. Continually striving to reach his dreams, Dan became a professor of business strategy and entrepreneurship and now, is pursuing his dream of creative endeavors. Dan's interest span the gamut of arts, sciences, history, humanities, classics, philosophy, and poetry. Dan's present journey is devoted to creative arts and activities, primarily writing poetry, fiction and non-fiction books and plays.
