La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi is an essential opera vocal score designed for advanced singers, voice students, and professional performers studying one of the most enduring works in the operatic repertoire. Ideal for conservatory study, vocal coaching, and rehearsal preparation, this edition supports both educational and performance-focused use.
This piano vocal score presents the complete opera with Italian and English text, making it accessible for singers who are refining diction, interpretation, and dramatic understanding. The clear vocal notation with piano accompaniment allows performers to study musical structure, phrasing, and harmonic context in depth. The translation supports meaningful engagement with the libretto while preserving the integrity of Verdi?s original musical intent.
Regular study with this score helps singers build confidence and technique while strengthening rhythm, pitch accuracy, and expressive control. It supports the development of operatic style, ensemble awareness, and dramatic pacing, making it a valuable resource for auditions, lessons, and staged productions. Teachers and vocal coaches often rely on this edition as a dependable music teacher resource for long-term vocal development.
The format encourages focused practice and detailed score study, helping singers prepare arias, ensembles, and full roles with clarity and consistency. Pianists and coaches also benefit from the readable accompaniment, which supports collaborative rehearsal and musical interpretation.
Bring opera to life. Suitable for lessons, recitals, and professional rehearsal, this vocal score is a thoughtful gift for serious classical singers and an enduring addition to any opera student?s music library.

Giuseppe Verdi was born on October 10, 1813, in the small village of Le Roncole in northern Italy. His father, Carlo Verdi, a poor peasant, ran the local combination shop (an inn and tavern) and farmed a small plot of land. Verdi had only one sibling, a younger sister who was retarded and who died in her teenage years. As a child, he showed an early interest in music. It is said that he used to follow an itinerant fiddle player all around the village, and that he would be transfixed by the organ music at church on Sundays, sometimes forgetting his duties as colyte.
