Treasure Hunt: Raptis Trilogy: Volume Two

Author, sculptor, artist, adventurer, diver, and underwater treasure hunter, Tracee Raptis, brings us her second book in this series of riveting and disturbing – at times emotional, romantic, and sexy – at times shocking, terrifying, and chilling – thrillers, novels exposing the darker side of the tropical island paradise water lore and treasure hunting world she knows well. This second book in the RAPTIS TRILOGY, titled TREASURE HUNT, opens briefly in the 1700’s when a galleon from the Old World sank, leaving what in today’s values are millions of dollars’ worth of treasure buried at sea. Then we leap to the 1950s where that same location is the scene of another underwater disaster sinking millions of dollars’ worth of these same treasures all over again. And then we follow the story of these treasures into more modern times through: our heroine’s, Terri’s, accidental discovery of what might be the location of these treasures; and then her perilous involvement in the search for these sunken treasures; and then Terri’s fight for her life when modern pirates grab her to learn and own what she knows about these same treasures. The pirates hold Terri captive out at sea, demanding she help them find the treasure. They tell her the safety of everyone in her phone book is at stake. Terri is trapped, captive out on that boat, her life is in danger. She keeps herself going by telling herself someone, maybe even Mitch, the man whose love Terri had blindly overlooked, will figure out that she needs help and come find her. Terri is now in a complex, heart wrenching, and heart pounding life and death struggle where she and then Mitch and others have to fight to survive the treasure hunters. Who will live and who will die, and who will inherit this treasure to become wealthier than she or he has ever imagined? “Turn the page, dare to. Then bear to read more. You see her, she emerges out of the corner of your mind, sneaking out from there between the lines. When you least expect it, there she is throwing off her cloak of safety, being the danger she is, the thriller writer in full form. Fasten your seat belt. She’s just beginning.” -- Angela Browne-Miller And if you think this Raptis Trilogy Volume 1: Treasure Hunt, is a page turner, just wait ‘til you read the other two volumes!
