Treasure in the Library

Hired to create an electronic catalog of a long-neglected Royal Library, a rookie archivist struggles to protect her project—and her heart—from the accidental Crown Prince, the man who both wants her gone, and wants her forever.

DREAM COME TRUE — OR NIGHTMARE?

What if a smart young professional woman, facing her first solo assignment, finds herself working for a man who wants to shut down her project: the same man she fell for years ago?

Rookie archivist Dr. Emily Charette strives to live up to her historian father’s reputation. Offered the chance to catalog the Royal Library of Dubrovia, Emily is torn between caring for her ailing father in Canada and accepting an assignment far from home to prove she’s his worthy successor.

She’s working for Nikolas Kuliç, formerly the playboy younger cousin (and the object of her unrequited affection more than a decade ago) but now the Crown Prince of Dubrovia. And he wants to shut down her project to recover the funding for his winery and a tourist-magnet spa.

Emily has to protect her project as well as her heart—because she’s falling in love with Nik all over again. It’s not professional, it’s not smart—and for someone who prides herself on being both, it’s a disaster.

Win Day is a storytelling geek who loves to read and write about strong men and savvy women. Her first novel, On a Whim, won the RWA Contemporary Chapter’s Stiletto contest in two categories: Best Contemporary Short and Best First Book. Treasure in the Library is her second published novel. Born and raised in New Jersey, Win moved to Canada after working as an engineer in an overseas oil refinery, where she met her husband, Tom. The two have been married for thirty-six years, and have two sons who are all grown up and living on their own. Win and Tom currently live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A member of her local chapter of Romance Writers of America, Win divides her time between building custom WordPress websites for authors, and writing both fiction and nonfiction. She learned long ago that she needs both the technical and the creative to keep her brain busy and her heart happy! When she isn’t writing or working on a website, Win enjoys traveling to warm places (she’s solar powered!), cooking (and eating!), and curling up on the couch with a good book. And listening to all sorts of music. Win believes that everyone deserves their Happy Ever After. And if you’re not living yours right now, duck into a book. Someone else’s story can give you the hope you need, and show you what's possible.
