About the Author
Growing up in Vietnam, Cathy Hoang learned to draw and paint as part of her junior high school education. Her college degrees led her in other directions, but upon retirement, she rediscovered her love of art and has been enjoying the hobby. These skills learned in childhood have become a new friend for her now in later years! Recreating the world around her in art with only pencil and paper, acquiring new skills as a gardener, and enjoying family are things Cathy loves doing these days. She encourages you, the reader, to dream and she hopes her art brings these stories to life, inspiring you to learn a new hobby that you can bring into your future just like she did.
