Treasury of Daily Prayer - Regular Edition

Daily prayer rooted in Scripture, shaped by the Church Year, and enriched by hymnody, catechism, and the voices of Christians across the centuries.

Across the seasons of the Church Year, Treasury of Daily Prayer gathers God's Word, the Lutheran Confessions, and classic hymnody into a steady, daily rhythm. Morning or evening--at the kitchen table or in a quiet pew--you'll be led through the same Scriptures, psalms, and prayers that have sustained Christians for centuries.

Each day, readers will:

• Follow a structured daily lectionary with Old and New Testament readings centered on Christ and His resurrection
• Pray psalms, canticles, and hymn stanzas carefully matched to each day's readings
• Read selections from Luther, Chemnitz, Walther, Chrysostom, and other teachers of the Church
• Observe a calendar of feasts and commemorations that connects you to the saints across the ages
• Use orders for Matins, Vespers, Compline, and other offices in the home, with family, or in congregational life

Designed for real life, each day's materials are gathered in one place--no constant page-turning required. You'll move through Scripture and the Psalter in a clear, manageable pattern, guided by a pastoral, Christ-centered approach that speaks honestly about suffering yet always directs you to Christ's promises.

Over time, this daily pattern forms a steady life of prayer: hearing God's Word, confessing the faith, singing with the church, and praying with confidence in the crucified and risen Lord who gathers, strengthens, and keeps His people.
