About the Author: When her grandson was born, she wanted him to enjoy the fun of learning Good Manners through the antics of "The Goops." The original copy of the book Goops and How To Be Them had been in her family for over 100 years and is very worn due to generations of love and tears. She set out to obtain a new book to be his very own, totally innocent of the great adventure ahead. She discovered a great need for children to learn proper manners, the most important step in obtaining good self-esteem. In 1998 she re-introduced Goops and How to Be Them, followed by the 2005 release of A Treasury of Goops. Her journey has led her on a crusade to bring good manners back into our lives.
