Fine condition glossy color illustrated boards contained in a very good condition color illustrated dust jacket. Includes a vintage 1978 Easter gift inscription beautifully scripted on the upper left corner of the verso of the free first front endpaper. Profusely illustrated in full color on every other page with the classic Beatrix Potter paintings. The upper left front jacket edge contains a 1/8th inch closed tear and the upper right jacket edge contains 3/4 inch closed tear; the jacket is otherwise in fine condition. All pages are in fine condition and the spine is exceedingly tight and square. Unpaginated.
