The volume Which is here offered to the public is little more than the abstract of a Course of Lectures, Which the author had prepared upon the Diseases of the Eye. Several years atten dance at the various hospitals of Great Britain, and the Continent especially, afforded him ample means and facility of observation on the various diseases of this organ; and this opportunity has been considerably augmented, since his return to his native country, by his appointment to the Baltimore Dispensary for the cure of diseases of the Eye.
