Several years atten dance at the various hospitals of Great Britain, and the Continent especially, afforded him ample means and facility of observation on the various diseases of this organ; and this opportunity has been considerably augmented, since his return to his native country, by his appointment to the Baltimore Dispensary for the cure of diseases of the Eye.
