Gilt titles on red strip (Volume 1 is missing title strip) Gilt volume numbers on black strip. All gilt edges. Ribbing to foot and corners. Marbled end papers. Gift inscription on fly leaf. " University of Edinburgh class of conveyancing session 1856/57. This prize was gained by Mr William Macronie etc and signed by Alexander Bell Form tut scot. Prof. Edinburgh 15th April 1857".
