Volume I, (The Pure Theory of Money) is a reprint of the first edition (1930) and printed in 1933. This is the date used for listing but please note that Volume II (The Applied Theory of Money) is a 1934 reprint. Both books feature economic equations, tables and charts; especially the second one. Both volumes have been categorised as in a good condition. Of the two, however, the first one is in a slightly sounder state. Both volumes consist of plain teal coloured cloth with some understated tooling near the top and lower edges. Elegant gilt (gold) titles along the spine - slightly faded along that of volume II. Condition (internal) a) volume one: a couple of page references in ink on the first front endpaper. Thereafter there is occasional paragraph marking/sentence underlining in ink or pencil. Discreetly executed. Condition (internal) b) volume two: a large amount of scribbling/page references in pencil on the first front endpaper. The reader may not have been a fan of Mr Keynes - the word 'rubbish' features - see image. There follows some occasional paragraph marking in pencil, including on the aforementioned 'rubbish' page. Again, unobtrusively effected. Also some of the pages have creases where they have been folded for reference etc plus a few are dog-eared. Pagination: pp. xvii, 363 (vol. I). pp. viii, 424 (vol. II).
