5th edn, London, for J & R Tonson & S Draper, 1747. 8vo, [xvi], lii, 228p. Complete with 14 engraved plates. Full contemporary calf, neatly rebacked and lettered in gilt. Corners worn else VG clean copy. As a surgeon at Guy's Hospital, from 1733 to 1757, Sharp was internationally famous. His 'Treatise on the Operations of Surgery' was the first British study focused exclusively on Operative Techniques.
