Paper label on front panel. 109 numbered text pages, 14 Tables on 15 pages at the back, of which Tables I & VIII are new to this edition. Attached to page 10 is a hand-written explanation and illustration of the sextant. Penciled notes on the first blank page at end of text. Boards are soiled and scuffed overall. Label on front panel is scuffed but legible. All edges are rubbed, edges at head and tail of board spine are split. several previous owner's names on FFEP. Damp stains to some degree in the lower margins next to spine from the front paste-down to pp. 40-41 where it tapers off. The lower ends of pp. 2-14 next to the gutter are loose. Several text pages are grubby and foxing is scattered throughout, altho heaviest on end-papers. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition descriptions.
