We owned and operated The Looking Glass Bookstore in downtown Portland, Oregon for thirty years. Our citations on this site are the accumulation of first editions, small press, galleys, letter press, comics and comix, and other interesting books and ephemera that we set aside over those years. Almost everything we saved is new, added to boxes that were sealed and kept until now.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. All books are carefully packaged and boxed. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 1.5 pounds. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know additional shipping charges are necessary. Insurance for books shipped outside the United States is an additional charge. Please inquire for costs. We provide proof of mailing, date and location for overseas shipment but cannot be responsible for delivery outside the United States.
