Tree of Life

Brooke seeks solitude at the forlorn estate, Thornwood Trace, but soon her peace is disturbed by secrets hidden for 200 years.

Escaping from heartache brought about by grief, deception, and betrayal, Brooke Davies moves to an estate on the outskirts of Greenport, Connecticut, only to

discover that this move is not a geographical cure. She will need to work through her sense of loss and eventually rediscover faith in God. The process of

healing is not peaceful, as she uncovers a sordid mystery involving the first owner of the estate, Doctor William Thornwood.

Although Ross Thornwood has not been successful in proving the rightful ownership of his ancestral home, he visits Thornwood Trace each year to mend fences, make repairs, and research his genealogy. Since his teen years, Ross has experienced a réjà vu phenomenon, involving the suggestion of horrific crimes that occurred in the past and might reoccur at Thornwood Trace, unless the evil is exposed. He wants to prevent any reoccurrence of evil happenings. For the present he keeps a watchful eye on the estate, its residents, and the paranormal activities.

Will Ross Thornwood risk his family name and the esteem in which the town holds Thornwood Trace to expose his ancestor's crimes and prevent the same evil from reoccurring?

Can Brooke Davies uncover facts and horrific crimes, buried for 200 years, before the Town of Greenport mistakenly honors a murderer and turns his former estate into a museum?

If Brooke allows her discoveries to be made public, will it destroy her chance at true love?
