The Author Dan Weinbach has practiced landscape architecture in Chicago and abroad for over forty years. After a stint in the Peace Corps, he began his professional career in the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. In 1987, after fifteen years with SOM, he founded his own firm, Daniel Weinbach & Partners, Ltd. Dan’s work includes projects of all types and scales, from international airports and corporate headquarters to small parks and private gardens. He has completed projects throughout the United States and in the Philippines, Taiwan, Mexico, UAE, Qatar, and Oman.
