Trend Messengers: A Guide To Understanding and Using Trends

The world around us is a world of trends. Each day you view message after message on the latest trends in entertainment, sports, politics, home entertainment and physical fitness to name a few. While all of these trends influence you, they also affect many others in society. Trends are essential elements of a culture and are excellent indicators of what is happening in that culture at any given point in time. However, even in the age of social media not everything is a trend. People analyzing trends need to be able to place them in their social context and successfully apply them. In this way the analyst becomes a Tend Messenger. A Trend Messenger examines a trend, extracts meaningful messages and then shows how to convert these messages into actionable intelligence that companies and individuals can use to make their lives and businesses successful and profitable.
