About the Author: Kenneth Jost is author of Supreme Court Yearbook and Supreme Court A to Z (both CQ Press) and the blog Jost on Justice (http: //jostonjustice.blogspot.com). An honors graduate of Harvard College and Georgetown Law School, Jost has covered legal affairs as a reporter, editor, and columnist for more than fifty years. He is a contributing writer for CQ Researcher; his reports over a two-decade career included two previews of newly inaugurated presidents: The Bush Presidency (January 2001) and The Obama Presidency (January 2009). Jost was a member of the CQ Researcher teams recognized for health reporting by the Society of Professional Journalists and for legal affairs reporting by the American Bar Association. He teaches media law at Georgetown Law School.
