Identifies various triangles found in familiar objects and uses activities, puzzles, and games to explore this shape
Gr 2-4--These slim volumes offer a few general comments on their respective topics, followed by games, art ideas, and problems to solve that are tied to that shape in some manner. There is a certain amount of repetition of ideas from book to book. The concepts and problems range from extremely easy to fairly complex. The simple sentence structure and format are occasionally at odds with the more advanced vocabulary and concepts. Colorful cartoonlike illustrations help to clarify the texts. Teachers will find useful ideas for math projects, but students will need an introduction before using these books independently. They may not, for instance, realize that answers to problems are provided at the back of the book.
