CHAPTER 1
Praise My Lord God,
Who heals those who petition him.
I turned to you in my distress,
And my prayers were answered.
Your mercy is without end.
Thank you, My Lord God. Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Jesus,
It will soon be Christmas,
and Christians will celebrate that You were born to be Our
Savior.
You came that we might know God and reach Heaven.
Thank you, Jesus.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Very God of Very God:
Almighty God—
There is none before Thee!
All in Heaven bow before Your Throne.
Without You, I am dust.
Glory be to God in the highest.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord,
Today I struggle with my computer upgrade
to make my computer a better computer
so it can serve me better.
Please have patience in your attempts
to upgrade me into a better Christian
that I might also serve better.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist church
Sweet Jesus,
You are my one true love.
Who could compare with you?
May my heart be as great as yours,
Who gave your very life to save others.
Be my Valentine!
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
As I watch the unique and beautiful snowflakes fall,
I pause and dwell upon the unique and lovely
moments of joy You grant me each day, Lord.
Thank you, Lord,
For the overflowing cup of grace You
Prepare daily for me.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Adonai,
I am flawed and impure.
Pour your grace over me and cleanse me.
make me sound and true,
worthy to serve You.
I wish to walk with You, Lord.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
As the sun rises this glorious Easter morn, I rejoice:
Christ is risen!
His grace and mercy pours over my sins,
Cleansing me so I might enter God's Presence
and
stand before the Very Throne.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Father,
You sent your Son, Jesus, to guide us.
But He had to return to You,
so You sent the Holy Spirit to keep us from going
astray.
Thank you for all your help.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Lord,
When I was baptized and reborn,
Was I given a new name?
A new name symbolizing the new person
I had become?
Will I be addressed by it when I stand
at the Very Gates of Heaven?
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
On Mother's Day,
We honor mothers everywhere.
Let us particularly remember Mary
Who bore our Savior Jesus
So obediently to God.
Thank you God that You guided mothers
like Mary so that we now have salvation.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Thank you,
Lord,
For the warm sunshine which lights my way
the same way You light my path in life.
I rejoice in the warmth of Your Presence
and
thank you for coming into my life.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
Soon we will be celebrating our nation's birthday.
Our founding fathers acknowledged how important you are
in our lives.
Please continue to guide our nation
and
help us to follow Your Path.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord above,
I rejoice every day you came into my life.
The day I accepted You
as my Lord and Savior
was the best day of my life.
Thank you, God.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
What could be better than chocolate?
You are, Lord!
You are sweeter than sweet.
I want you every day with me by my side.
Better yet,
You are not even fattening!
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord above,
You do not require altar sacrifices from us,
unlike the pagan idols of old.
What you do ask of us
is that we acknowledge all you do for us,
with our praise.
Thank you God for the sacrifice
Your Son Jesus made for us.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Oh Lord, I wait, I wait, I wait
To see the unfolding of Thy Will in all it's glory.
I know Your Time is not my time.
But,
nothing can excel Your Plans.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Gracious God above,
You pour blessings over me
in an unending stream,
one after another.
How can I thank you enough for
Coming into my life?
How can I thank you enough for
my friends and family?
How can I thank you enough for
sending Your Son Jesus?
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
blessed jesus,
you came that I might be adopted
into your family by god.
Before you came,
Gentiles were orphans indeed.
Now we can come home to god.
Thank you, jesus.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Oh, star of light which shines
down on Christmas Eve,
lightening the path of our Savior,
Jesus.
He was born to save us,
Jews and gentiles alike.
Thank you, Jesus.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord,
When my car is broken,
my heart breaks, too.
I know your heart breaks likewise
when I am broken.
Likewise I know I was surely made to serve you,
Lord,
as my car was made to serve me.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
My beloved Lord and Savior,
As the New Year dawns,
each dawn opening with the blessings
You shower down on me,
may I never stray from your side
In my walk in life.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Lord,
I can look you up on the Internet,
but in fact I will seek you there in vain.
I need to turn to your Word
and
to turn inward to find Your Presence.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
please hear my plea, oh lord.
I cry to the very heavens
in my distress.
My bones ache for your mercy.
Please forgive me
Where I have sinned
And
Grant me pardon.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
I cannot speak enough praises to your name,
O Most High.
You rain mercy down on me
like the rain pours down on a rainy day.
You are a refuge for the oppressed
and
A stronghold in times of trouble.
You never forsake any who seek you.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
I was struck down
and
could not use my legs.
But I could continue my walk with you
in prayer and seek healing.
Praise God,
You mercifully healed me.
Thank you,
Jesus.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
My Lord and Savior,
May I stand solid and upright on Your Word.
May I not slip and fall away from Your Presence.
May I stand in the circle of Your Arms,
safe and secure from all evil.
Praise God.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
I lift up my soul.
I reach upwards to the very heavens
that I might be with Your Presence.
You are my Shield
and
my Comforter.
May I walk with you
all the days of my life.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
I know I have sinned
and
broken Your Laws.
Please do not abandon me.
Please be my Redeemer.
Have mercy on me,
Most High.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
I thank God I was born
with enough intelligence to recognize
You are the One True God.
Smart enough to be able to read
Your Word and understand it.
Thank you,
My Lord and Savior.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Jesus,
I know the elections are over.
But I did not elect you the Lord of my life—
You were born to be my Savior.
Thank you, Jesus.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord above,
Thank you for coming into my life.
You are my comfort and my salvation.
You rescue me from any possible pitfalls
in my life.
Thank you, my Lord God.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
No matter which model or version computer
we chose to help us in our daily life,
the computer was chosen to serve us.
So too we were born to serve our God.
Please help us Lord in these our anointed tasks.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
My car can quickly take me to my travel destination,
But only You,
Lord,
and the Bible can take me to heaven.
You have given me the Bible as my road map to
Heaven.
Thank you, Jesus.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Lord,
My computer cries out for Windows 8
and
I have to have the latest Smart phone.
But my most important contact is with Thee,
Lord,
and that is with time honored prayer.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Lord,
My feather bed comforter is SO warm and cozy
this cold winter night.
Yet Your Loving Arms,
which You wrapped around me when I turned
my cares over to You in my bedtime prayers,
are warmer still.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Beloved God,
In my youth,
I fell away from You and Your Ways.
But,
You did not forsake me.
You called me by name
and
now I am Yours.
Praise God.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
what better drink can I find
than my starbucks coffee?
Only the uplifting sip
Of the communion cup
Which draws me nearer to thee,
Lord.
What could sustain me better?
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
As I sit here listening
at your memorial service,
reflecting on our years together,
I can only wonder when
and
where we will met again.
Will Jesus call you back to greet me
in Heaven?
Will we met before the Very Throne?
Praise God.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God;
As I gaze upon the beauty of a butterfly,
let me see myself as a Christian in your work of nature.
Both I and the butterfly are born again
to glorify You.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Thank you,
Lord,
for the nourishing rain which you have sent
pouring down from Heaven over me.
The earth needs it
just as my soul needs the grace
which you poured over me
when I accepted You as my Lord and Savior.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord,
I sit at your feet to hear your Word.
May I be worthy of you always.
I am willful and stubborn,
but I would walk with you all the days of my life.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord above,
I ask you heal me of my illness.
Sick that I am,
I cannot perform the tasks you set before me.
I know you can heal me.
if it be Thy Will,
I ask I be healed.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
On Father's Day let us also honor
Our Father who art in Heaven.
Our Father created us
and
watches over us carefully every day
not just Father's Day.
Thank you Father God
for all you do for us.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear Lord,
It is said marriages are made in Heaven.
Yours,
Jesus,
surely was,
as you married the church.
May all those married in your churches be blessed
every day they made that choice.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Sweet Lord,
Like my trusty fan,
please blow your breath on me,
Lord,
stirring thereby my soul to greater things.
Breathe your visions for my guidance
that I might know Your Will.
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
Dear God,
When I open the paper,
I turn to the specials to see what I can save.
But,
would not my time be better spent
turning to the religious section to see
what my local church offers
to save me?
Amen.
Barbara Bohm; Americus Methodist Church
We should give thanks everyday
and
not just Thanksgiving Day
that we were born here
in our country to our God.
We should give thanks
for our friends and family.
We should give thanks
God sent Jesus so we could know God
and be saved.
Amen.

Terms of sale
General Terms and Conditions and Customer Information / Privacy Policy
I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic provisions
(1) The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you conclude with us as a provider (AHA-BUCH GmbH) via the Internet platforms AbeBooks and/or ZVAB. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of any of your own terms and conditions used by you will be objected to
(2) A consumer within the meaning of the following regulations is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor their independent professional activity. An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of his independent professional or commercial activity.
§ 2 Conclusion of the contract
(1) The object of the contract is the sale of goods.
(2) If an article is listed by us at AbeBooks or ZVAB, the activation of the offer page at AbeBooks or ZVAB constitutes the binding offer to conclude a contract under the conditions contained in the article page.
(3) The contract is concluded via the online shopping cart system as follows:
The goods intended for purchase are stored in the "shopping cart". Via the corresponding button in the navigation bar you can call up the "shopping cart" and make changes there at any time.
After calling up the "Checkout" page and entering the personal data as well as the payment and shipping conditions, all order data will be displayed again on the order overview page.
Before sending the order, you have the option of checking all information again, changing it (also via the "back" function of the Internet browser) or cancelling the purchase.
By submitting the order via the "Buy now" button, you declare the acceptance of the offer in a legally binding manner, whereby the contract is concluded.
(4) The processing of the order and transmission of all information required in connection with the conclusion of the contract is partly automated by e-mail. You must therefore ensure that the e-mail address you have stored with us is correct, that the receipt of the e-mails is technically ensured and, in particular, that spam filters do not prevent it.
§ 3 Right of retention, retention of title
(1) You can only exercise a right of retention if it concerns claims from the same contractual relationship.
(2) The goods remain our property until full payment of the purchase price.
§ 4 Warranty
(1) The statutory warranty rights exist.
(2) In the case of used goods, the warranty period is one year from delivery of the item, deviating from the statutory regulation. The shortening of the deadline does not apply:
- culpably caused damages attributable to us from injury to life, limb or health and in the case of other damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence;
- insofar as we have fraudulently concealed the defect or have assumed a guarantee for the quality of the item.
(3) As a consumer, you are requested to check the item immediately upon delivery for completeness, obvious defects and transport damage and to inform us and the freight forwarder of any complaints as soon as possible. If you do not comply with this, this will have no effect on your statutory warranty claims.
§ 5 Choice of law, place of performance, place of jurisdiction
(1) German law shall apply. In the case of consumers, this choice of law shall only apply insofar as this does not withdraw the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of the consumer's habitual residence (principle of favourability).
(2) The place of performance for all services arising from the existing business relationships with us as well as the place of jurisdiction is our registered office, insofar as you are not a consumer, but a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law. The same applies if you do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or the EU or if the domicile or habitual residence is not known at the time the action is brought. The right to appeal to the court at another statutory place of jurisdiction remains unaffected by this.
(3) The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall expressly not apply.
