Part of the title page (at the base) is missing at the base, this book has been accurately dated from the British Library English Short Title Catalogue [ESTC System No. 006365418 and Citation No. T95470]. [2],iv,[2], 256pp. INCOMPLETE Lacking pages 85 to 96. Otherwise collated and complete. With 19 plates in varying but generally fair condition, Plate 17 bound in at the rear with 18 and 19, half or two-thirds of Plate 10 missing. Plate 19 is frayed at the edges and torn with some loss, repaired; all other plates are in reasonable order. Two plates repaired to the rear, two with closed tears. Title page also repaired. Rebound in half calf leather with marbled boards and a red title label, black geometric shapes to the compartments with five raised bands. New end papers, title page frayed with loss (date of publication is missing), repaired but collated according to the British Library s Short Title Catalogue and this is confirmed as the 1724 edition of Trigonometry by Wilson. Extremely rare in any edition with only 10 in UK Libraries (with 5 of them in the National Library of Scotland) and 8 in the US. See photos.
